When spring starts thinking it’s summer.
LIST OF NEWSWORTHY
Random Updates
Random because my memory’s been shit for what really happened in March. But for real, it’s supposed to be spring and my city thinks it’s summer and everything tends to boil especially in the afternoons. Why?
We did however, had a barbeque way before spring started which was fun even if I had to pretty much stand all the way through it. It was our first time doing it ourselves and it ended by me taking a shower at 1 am to get rid of the smoky smell. I think there was also a power issue going on? What a wild weekend, haha. There were also birthday dinners and cakes so it was a good month, overall.
TV WATCH
A mostly dead season for TV shows that you’d think I’d be able to catch up on binging shows and yet.
- Jane the Virgin – Still feels a bit wobbly after the time jump but I’m glad the show didn’t lose what makes it what it is.
- The Flash – Season 3 would be a lighter season, they said. It’d be more in the vein of season 1, they said.
- Fresh Off the Boat – This show is never not going to be irrelevant.
- New Girl – Another season finale, another Nick-Jess confrontation of feelings. I mean, they’d only been building up to it all season long.
- Suits – I’m still having a hard time believing they went for what they did which would have been such a perfect way to end the show. Guess not.
- This Is Us – So many tears, as usual. But the season finale didn’t really feel like a finale to me?
- Haikyuu! – BEST SHOW EVER. However, I’ve been so slow in making my way through it that it’s probably because I want it to last.
- Supergirl – This show definitely has some really good parts specifically the alien villains and the dynamic of Kara and Alex which is why I can’t stop watching it. Still, this seriously needs to improve by a lot.
- Glee – What a terrible show. I’m glad Grant was only in 7 episodes because I wouldn’t have been able to suffer through more than that.
- DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – Ugh, this show is an utter mess. I was so close to giving up but then they finally brought in Captain Cold and well, there’s only the season finale left to watch now.
- The Big Bang Theory – Now that it’s been renewed for seasons 11 and 12, I guess I’ll be stuck watching it till the end. Good thing is that this season is so much better than the previous…few.
- The Royals – Finally watching season 3 and only halfway through. Show is still ridiculous af but anything for my ship, really which has been so great this season.
MOVIE WATCH
Look who’s watching movies again.
- Ghost in the Shell (8/10) – Such a thought-provoking cyberpunk! And after reading the spoilers for the trashfire reboot, I’m even more convinced that everyone should watch this instead because it’s A+ stuff.
- Die Hard (5/10) – I don’t even know what and how to seriously rate this. It was such stupid fun watching this especially with Alan Rickman in his Snape voice as the villain haha.
- Howl’s Moving Castle (7/10) – It wasn’t as mindblowing as I was expecting it to be, but I had fun watching it. Sophie was hilarious and the animation definitely blew my mind. I feel like if the ending wasn’t so rushed, Howl’s Moving Castle would have easily become a favorite.
- A Mother’s Nightmare (5/10) – Apparently my gonna-watch-everything-Grant’s-ever-starred-in phase came back in full swing since I also ended up watching one out of the two movies he’s ever been in. This was somewhat cringeworthy and also so high school-ish and teenage-y with insta-love and general mindfuckery.

PLAYLIST
I just listened to a lot of singles so the playlist kind of ended up being an eclectic one which I didn’t mind in the least.
How was your March?
Maraia says
Is Glee really still going? oO I gave up on that a while ago.
Excuse me while I die of shock from the number of books you got. xD
My March was life changing. Literally! Lol
Sana says
Haha no, it’s ended. I only watched those episodes of Glee that Grant Gustin (who’s the main character on The Flash) starred in. Not obsessed with him or anything. XD
LOL someone needs to stop me. I’m like up to like 75 book buys for this year already, oops.
I totally laughed at the life-changing line. XD
Maraia says
Oh, I think I know what you’re talking about. Was he at the all boys school?
OMG, SANA. That’s hilariously out of control.
