Most emotional month in recent memory…
LIST OF NEWSWORTHY
Winter Bookish Bingo
Third bingo and my most successful yet.
I’m super excited for the Spring bookish bingo because so many squares look so fun. It could be my last one, too seeing as how it’s the fourth one I’ll be doing which would mean I have done them for a year…
Here’s the winter list (left to right, top to bottom):

Death by Book
I don’t know when I’ll be able to talk about A Conjuring of Light because for now, it’s all just a mishmash of emotions and a lot of yelling in my brain and just aldkjfhsgajk.
TV WATCH
Probably the shortest list to ever debut in a monthly recap?
- The Flash – Still my favorite show ever. Wally being the best.Team Flash being the best. Introduction to Gypsy was so great, I’m glad she’s in more episodes. The Flash vs Solovar fight was epic even though I can never make up my mind about the gorillas on the show.
- One Day at a Time – SUCH AN AMAZING SHOW! So many family feels, I’m in love and the finale is one of the best. My only complaint is that none of the actors are actually Cuban so what’s even the point of making them so on the show.
- The Big Bang Theory – Again, some hilarious episodes, others were okay.
- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – I’m loving this season! The ending of the latest episode was so good (except for a small detail which can you not, show writers?)
- Jane the Virgin – A big, big change because of the 3-year time jump so I don’t know how I feel about it yet. I do think they’re pulling it off, though.
- Supergirl – I honestly don’t get the whole Kara getting into a relationship with that person when we all know it’s a disaster to begin, already a disaster and surely to end in a disaster, too.
- DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – The episode about Reverse Flash was fun and I actually like this version of Rip Hunter better than the self-righteous jerk one.
- New Girl – Winston’s been so adorable lately.
- This Is Us – Still very shocked that Kevin did what he did. So unlike him like how?
- Fresh Off the Boat – I love how they keep coming up with such great content.
- Suits – This season would honestly have been a perfect ending to the show but nope.
- How to Get Away with Murder – I totally called the killer plot midway into the finale which didn’t end up really impressing me but overall, a solid season.
- Good Behavior – So addictive! A lo-fi show with a few changes from the novellas which I liked. A little dramatic at times but I loved the family aspect. Letty is a great character, though and the ship is so good. Also, the music in this is amazing.
MOVIE WATCH
Bad movies, fun times.
- Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (3/10) – At least better than episode II, I guess? Haha.
- Vampire Academy (2/10) – I can’t even be mad that I watched it because it was so hilariously bad. Surprisingly, Rose’s character was quite close to the one in the books so I definitely had fun watching her scenes.

PLAYLIST
Yes, still very much addicted to ONE OK ROCK and now Against the Current, too.
How was your February?
Maraia says
So much Scalzi! I can’t wait to keep reading. If, you know, we manage to move past ACOL.
I’m very happy with the amount I read in February (though of course I still wish I’d read more. I more than doubled my number of pages from last month! If only I could keep it up. xD
Is One Day at a Time a half hour show?
Sana says
Haha we managed to move past ACOL (or move with it intact). \o/
If only, Maraia! XD Still super impressed, though.
Oh yeah, I think the episodes are 25 minutes long on average and only 12 so it won’t even take you that long to watch it all.
Amy Shaw says
The last episode of Agents of SHIELD really hooked me for sure! I think I know which detail you are referring to and I am completely perplexed how that can even work in the framework if the point is immortality so… I guess we’ll see next month!
Sana says
Right?! I feel like they misdirected us with the whole ‘if you die in the framework, you die in real life thing, too’ because of Jemma so definitely something’s up with that detail as well. Ahhh, can it be back yet
Crini says
I love that if I added album covers, I would have had the same three as you LOL
I can’t wait for you to read The Emperor’s Blades! GIANT NINJA BIRDS!!!
This reminds me that I should probably buy and read Six Wakes now.
Sana says
#drifting XD
I almost started The Emperor’s Blades a couple times this month but hey, there’s always the next month
UM YES, PLEASE
