Slowed Down
January was probably the most relaxed month I had in a long time and I loved it. I was supposed to travel, but I managed to get out of it and since I haven’t really spent winters at home in so long, it feels great to finally do so. Peaceful solitude forever, please.
Death by Fiction
First the prologue of The Raven King took over my mind and soul and now The 100, it’s like I don’t qualify for a break from emotions anymore.
TV WATCH
- The Big Bang Theory – IDEK.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine – Ah, I seriously love this show even more with every new episode that airs. - New Girl – New Girl is back after eons! I missed Winston and Nick’s humor so much, but that’s pretty much it.
- Younger – I like how there’s so much more of Hilary Duff in season two.
- UnREAL – So Ellis started talking about UNreal to me one day and I immediately wanted to watch it even though it’s based on a reality show (re: The Bachelor) but hey, I’m all for behind-the-scenes look of things so I watched it. This show is super, super fucked up and I really, really like it.
- Jane the Virgin – I watched half the number of aired episodes of Jane the Virgin in two days and I hadn’t done like that in so long. I love how refreshing, hilarious and unlike anything I was expecting it to be it is. It’s such a feelgood show and Jane is amazing.
- The Royals – Gah, the schemes and the double-crossing never end.
- Agent Carter – I finally caught up on the first season and so much awesome!
- The 100 – I MISSED THIS SHOW SO MUCH AND WHAT IS SANITY. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND THE TRAUMA.
- iZombie – I am not really digging season two, meh.
- Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries – I finished all three seasons and ASDFGHJKL THAT LAST EPISODE! So good. Can we have season 4 soon, please? I read that there might be a TV movie set in London and just give it to me but as a season.
- Heroes Reborn – Well, I figured I might as well watch all of it since I’d already watched half it and then it got cancelled. The show definitely had the potential which it didn’t live up to.
- The Flash – Why do shows like to fuck up the ships so much?
- Shadowhunters – I love how hilarious this show is and how there’s zero acting. The only thing I like about it is Alec and the faces that he makes.
- Doctor Who – I finally finished season one and started season two. I feel slightly strange about the doctor change, but I know the Tenth Doctor is everyone’s favorite so I’ll adjust soon. HAVE NO FEAR.
- Suits – What a mess of everything! I’M LOVING IT.
MOVIE WATCH
- Divergent (1/10) – Ha, I knew this movie would suck and I also knew I wouldn’t rest until I watched it, so I fast-forward watched it and what dull fun.
Ex Machina (8/10) – Um weirdest movie ever! It has only four characters, it just fucks with your mind and the ending leaves you with chills.

I miss Brooklyn Nine-Nine, it’s been too long since I watched. LOL, I didn’t even know Hilary Duff was in a TV show. Did you watch Lizzie McGuire back in the day? I loved that show. XD I still need to start Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Maybe after Daredevil. Except I also want to watch How To Get Away With Murder. Are we going to keep watching Shadowhunters? I guess the good part is, it can’t get any worse.
I actually remember thinking Divergent wasn’t terrible when I watched it, haha. Of course, my standards were pretty low. The second one looks terrible, though.
I’m loving your list of book acquisitions. Now all we need is a couple months of paused time to read all the books and watch all the shows. 😀

I watched the trailer for Insurgent, it's terrible! The trailer for Allegiant is even worse. You should watch it, it's hilarious.

I'm sO HAPPY THAT THE 100 IS BACK, FINALLY. I'll admit that I definitely put off watching episode two for a few days because I heard some stuff about a certain ship that would certainly kill me and I wasn't ready for the pain, but the pain is here AND IT'S SO GOOD.

I just started watching The Royals and when I saw I was already out of episodes to watch, this series is SO addictive, I didn't give anything for it at the start but season 2 blow all the conspiracies out of the water and now I want more.
Keeping your head up by Birdy is also on my playlist of this month, I don't usually like her slower songs but this one is so good.

I LOVE THE 9TH DOCTOR SO MUCH. Probably why it took me so long to finish watching the first season. I like 10th a lot already, though.
I only started The Royals in November and 20 episodes is nothing! Yeah, I also think that season 2 is way better. Can't wait for season 3!

I spend half the days in a week recovering and when I'm finally fine, it's time for another episode. IT'S SO HARD BUT I LOVE IT WHICH MAKES IT MORE HARD. I LOVE/HATE THE PAIN.
