Happy Brand New 2013, everyone!
How do you all like the new blog design? I am still learning the HTML ropes so I decided to tweak it and voila, this is the result. I wanted to tone down that red and do the classic white-on-black for ideal reading.
Also, this is my first ever TTT post as I’ve become a fan of lists recently and I thought why not give this a go. My Tuesdays need to be more interesting.
- Delirium by Lauren Oliver – I know of its existence since before it came out and I’ve been trying to read it but guess not that hard enough. I actually bought it today and I can finally say that I will be reading Delirium. Phew.
- Divergent by Veronica Roth – I never really planned to read it as such (I still don’t know what’s its really about) but all the buzz around Insurgent and then the countless ravings. I had to give in.
- Wither by Lauren DeStefano – Genetic time bomb. ‘Nuff said.
- Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater – I never liked werewolves because of all the books (mainly Twilight) hat made them look like a weaker, lesser version of a vampire. I want to let go of that and embrace the wolves. Figuratively, that is.
- Uglies by Scott Westerfield – I am so intrigued by the concept alone that it’s a surprise I didn’t read it during sleep or something.
- I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You by Ally Carter – I love spies and a teenage girl spy, I don’t know how I could have missed reading the books long before 2013.
- Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson – I love road trip books like it’s nobody’s business and I’ve dying to read this.
- The Iron King by Julie Kagawa – I am ashamed. In my defense however, I started it and then school knocked on the door so…
- Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins – I love all things Eiffel Tower and I’d like to read this.
- The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen – I’ve got to admit I’ve never read any Sarah Dessen *ducks head* but I plan to change that and go back to the roots of YA contemporary this 2013.
So this is it for me. How did you’ll fare?

I'd Tell You I Love You is such a good book! I love that whole series. Anna and the French Kiss is absolutely wonderful- if you love French culture and love stories, you'll definitely like it. I need to read Amy and Roger's Epic Detour, too. It's been sitting on my shelf for months!

Great list! Sarah Dessen writes wonderful stories, but be warned they are heart wrenching.
Divergent, The Uglies, and Delerium are great reads, while Shiver is good, but I felt like the third book in the trilogy was not very good.

You have some great books on that list that you need to read. I highly recommend Amy & Roger (A favorite of mine), Anna, and Divergent. Although I enjoyed them, I didn't absolutely love The Iron King and Delirium, but I know a lot of people did.
I hope you enjoy all of these books!

Wow, we have quite a few in common on our list 🙂 I read Uglies back when YA wasn't really a thing, and found it kind of slow and not for me. I also haven't read a Sarah Dessen book – I should remedy that this year, haha!
Happy reading!

I absolutely loved Delirium. Most people I know were so-so about it, but I ♥ it so much! I even got a tattoo of a quote in the book! So I really do hope you enjoy it and am glad you have a copy now 😉 The Uglies series is good, I liked it. I loved Shiver and adored Anna, so hopefully you do too. I also need to read Divergent, it sounds so good! It's on a lot of bloggers lists, we should all get together and have a read-along 😀
I think Sarah Dessen is okay, I've read a few of her books. But I haven't read any John Green books, so I don't think it's too bad that you haven't read any of hers.
Enjoy your books and I hope you reach your reading goals! Happy new year 😀

Oh, there are just so many books that I'm excited about on this list, mostly because I've read and loved them!
I highly endorse Divergent, as it's definitely one of my favorite series. Plus, this year, the last installment is finally coming out!

From the list you mentioned, i only read 4 books! So i definitely need to read the other 6 as well!!! I suck because i didnt read divergent either… or delirium, the iron king, shiver, the uglies, and the truth about forever. Great list!!

Delirium is one of my favorite books ever. Divergent was brilliant. Need to start Wither, Shiver, & Uglies. Most likely Uglies will be first. I need to start reading Julie Kagawa and Stephanie Perkins period. Love your list!

*splutters* ANNA. You MUST read ANNA. I read it last year and it is really, really worth it. I'm doing an ANNA re-read/read-a-long in April, and I hope you'll join in!
I haven't read the Iron Fey series either. *sighs* I own the first two books and I started the first one, then had to put it down because of other blog commitments. I have heard it's a great series.

I've read all of these except Divergent, and they are all fantastic. You truly can't go wrong with this list! Happy reading!
